Pain Relief In Many Forms Being Offered At New Clinic
To keep things simple, the name of Dr. Derek Ierino’s new practice is The Loop Chiropractic. But in truth, his treatment plans go beyond what you might expect from a chiropractor.
He does offer the traditional adjustments along with cupping, soft tissue therapy and vibration therapy to relieve the discomfort that brought the patient in. But then he also has a rehab room with exercise bands, mats and stability balls where he can use the skills he learned as a personal trainer to get at the deeper issues.
“I want to make sure that they not only have their good range of motion returned back to them, but all those muscles that were either injured, not moving, not firing right, that those are addressed too,” he said. “We’re going to make sure that low back, neck, mid back, shoulder, whatever it is, is not only moving right, but also is strengthened and making sure that the mobility is truly returned.”
The Loop Chiropractic just opened on the 7th floor of the historic TractorWorks building at 800 Washington Avenue North. It’s Dr. Ierino’s first practice and he knew he wanted to be in this neighborhood.
“North Loop is the place to be,” he said. “My fiancee actually works just down the road at Arch Salon and Suites. We live over in Northeast. And everywhere we go for date nights, where we want to go shopping, whatever it was, North Loop just kind of seems to be the best spot. I like that the people here kind of work hard, play hard, and I just want to be a part of that community.”
You can learn more about his practice here on the company website.
