REVIVAL RETURNS TO MINNEAPOLIS NOVEMBER 9

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Revival will officially return to Minneapolis on Monday, November 9, 2026, opening at 730 Washington Avenue North in the former Borough space. The long-awaited return marks a new chapter for the beloved restaurant, known for its celebrated fried chicken, Southern-inspired comfort food and welcoming hospitality. Reservations are now available through OpenTable.
Jester Concepts acquired the Revival brand following the closure of its previous locations in January 2025. The reopening brings Revival back to the city where the restaurant first developed its devoted following, introducing the next chapter of a Twin Cities favorite.
“When we heard Revival was closing, I reached out to Nick and Thomas right away to see how we could help,” said Brent Frederick, owner of Jester Concepts. “We’ve always been friends and fans of what they built. Revival is one of those brands that has a special place in the Twin Cities dining community, and bringing it into the Jester Concepts family felt like a natural fit. We know how much this restaurant means to people, and we’re excited to give it the next chapter it deserves.”
Revival will occupy the longtime Borough space, the first restaurant opened by Jester Concepts and its home for 13 years. The space has been reimagined to reflect Revival’s lively, approachable personality, creating a welcoming destination for everything from a quick lunch to a family dinner or a night out in the North Loop.
Guests can look forward to the return of Revival’s signature fried chicken and the Southern-inspired comfort food that made the restaurant a Twin Cities favorite, alongside new offerings that build on the brand’s roots. The beverage program will bring a playful approach to classic Southern hospitality, featuring nostalgic beverage selections including the Jazzy Belle sparkling wine, Bourbon Sweet Tea, Pryes Thunder Chicken Golden Ale, and shareable cocktail pitchers.
“Revival has always been about food that makes people happy, and that’s where we’re starting,” said Mike DeCamp of Jester Concepts. “We know guests have strong memories and favorite dishes tied to Revival, and we take that seriously. Our goal is to honor what made it special in the first place, while finding thoughtful ways to bring something fresh to the table. We want longtime guests to recognize what they loved immediately, while still giving them something new to discover.”
A Note to Previous Revival Gift Card Holders
Jester Concepts recognizes that many guests still hold Revival gift cards purchased or received before the restaurant closed under previous ownership. When Jester Concepts acquired the brand, the company did not receive the funds associated with previous gift card sales, customer contact information or a complete record of outstanding gift cards.
To better understand outstanding gift cards and connect with previous cardholders, Jester Concepts is asking guests with existing Revival gift cards to complete a short form athttps://www.revivalrestaurants.com/giftcardform by October 18, 2026.
