Summer Bocce Ball Leagues Coming To North Loop Park

While we wait to find out what the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board intends to add to the new park on North 3rd Street (we’ve suggested new trees, sitting areas, play areas, etc.), the Park Board has announced the first organized activity at the park: bocce ball leagues.

They’re for teams of two to eight players, ages 18 and over, starting June 5th. It will cost $50 per team to participate.

The park will also get some good use on Sunday, July 16th at the North Loop’s annual food truck fair.
