Stay in the Loop

What A View These North Loop Construction Workers Had!

Workers building the new North Loop Green have had great views of Twins games below them this season, as the residential tower has been rising ever higher over left field. But in the post-season, the sights and sounds have been even greater.

On Wednesday evening, just before the Twins played the Astros in Game 4 of the ALDS, members of the 148th Fighter Wing flew fast and low over the stadium, and several construction workers had their phones out to capture it from the top floor.

The workers were ready because the Twins had announced the flyover earlier in the day. The 148th Fighter Wing also did a flyover on September 11th.

And during the Wild Card round against the Blue Jays, a C-130 Hercules from the St. Paul-based 133rd Airlift Wing of the Minnesota National Guard also did a flyover.
