Work Begins On Big New Development

The North Loop’s biggest new development in years, North Loop Green, is officially underway. On what’s currently a surface parking lot across the tracks from the Ford Center–and across the street from Target Field–will be a 36-story residential tower along with a 14-story commercial tower and a new park for the neighborhood, known as The Green.

For those wondering, this development is outside the historic zone where building heights are strictly limited. North Loop Green is slated to be complete in 2024.
