New Fast Casual Restaurant Announces July 8th Opening Date
Puralima Cantina, the latest dining concept from the people who brought us Crisp & Green and Stalk & Spade, is set to open July 8th in the Duffey apartment building at 6th and Washington in the North Loop.
From 10:30a-1:30p on the 8th, they’ll be offering live music, free food samples and other prizes.
This new fast-casual restaurant will have build-your-own tacos, burritos, bowls and salads, as well as margaritas, beer, wine and churros.
Guests will have their choice of protein (ahi tuna, grilled steak, grilled chicken) as well as three toppings and salsa. Everything will be made from scratch at the counter in front of the customer–similar to how Crisp & Green does it.
“We really like the fact that the (North Loop) neighborhood is growing so much,” said a spokesperson for Steele Brands, the parent company. “I mean, when we first started at Crisp & Green seven years ago, it was quiet. There were just a few. And now it’s just like ‘wow.’ So we thought this would be a really great fit.”
The ten-foot pillars in Puralima Cantina’s dining area have been artfully-decorated by artist HOTTEA to resemble Mexican rugs.
Leading up to the opening, the company plans to have pop-up giveaways of food samples. You can follow their Instagram and Facebook accounts or subscribe to their newsletter for those details.
