Stay in the Loop

Company Focusing On Sports Performance, Women’s Health Opens Here

Whether your golf swing, shoulder strength or running abilities have been hampered by aches or injuries, the team at Revival Physical Therapy & Wellness has just arrived in the North Loop to help out.

Dr. Ben Britton and Dr. Pete Stanley are the owners, and they’re joined by Dr. Maggie Germscheid, who specializes in women’s health–specifically with pelvic issues. They held a grand opening Open House today at North Loop Fitness, where they’ll see patients by appointment in private suites.

“We’re a physical therapy company but we’re also really focused on wellness,” Dr. Ben said. “So we see people when they get injured and rehab have them back to hopefully feeling good. But we don’t want to just get you back to feeling okay and then send you out the door. We would like to work with you and get you stronger and better at whatever activity you enjoy.”

This new location is the second for Revival, whose owners started with a mobile, in-home service in 2019 before opening a Robbinsdale office two years later.

“I tend to work with a lot of runners, marathoners,” said Dr. Pete, “because runners are constantly dealing with small aches and pains, and I just help them get back to being pain-free.”

Dr. Maggie takes on clients with sports-related concerns as well, but about 80% of her clients see her for women’s health issues.

“I work with a lot of women who are pregnant, post-partum, experiencing, pelvic pain, urinary issues and so forth,” she said.

When the owners started looking to expand into Minneapolis, the North Loop was their first choice.

“This is a super cool area to be a part of,” said Dr. Ben. “And I really do feel like it’s a neighborhood that if you’re a part of it, you’re kind of in a select group. And so it already feels cool to be a part of that.”

You can find Revival on the lower level of the TractorWorks building, 800 Washington Avenue North, inside North Loop Fitness.
