Another Mini Golf Facility For Adults Coming To North Loop

A second indoor mini golf company has just announced plans to open a facility in the North Loop. Puttshack, which was founded by the creators of TopGolf, will feature “three highly-engaging and competitive nine-hole mini golf courses, accentuated by a high-energy, upscale nightclub vibe featuring local DJs,” according to a news release.

The new entertainment center, which will also feature a main dining area and two bars, will go into a new building going up on a former surface parking lot next to Thr3Jack and Fuzzy’s–part of the Duffey 2.0 project. It’s currently a large hole in the ground.

Meanwhile, work is currently underway on a different indoor mini golf center for adults–operated by The Puttery–at 270 Hennepin, across from Whole Foods. It’s expected to open later this year, while Puttshack is targeting a late 2024 opening.

“The North Loop neighborhood is a vibrant, trendy warehouse district with several exciting entertainment concepts. Puttshack will soon be a top attraction in the area for locals and visitors alike to experience our one-of-a-kind game and unrivaled food and beverage program,” said Puttshack President, Dave Diamond.

He said Puttshack will also serve as the ideal meet-up destination before or after Twins and Timberwolves games.
