Modist Brewing Adding “Neon-Overdosed” Event Space

Modist Brewing released images and details this week of the brand new event space they’re building at the north end of their facility as part of a $2 million renovation that will also create new offices, lounge and lab for employees.

They’re describing it as a “multi-level, mural-infested, mirrored-ceilinged, neon-overdosed, brewer zoo of an event space” that’ll host up to 100 people for “corporate events, doggy baby showers, wedding parties, and just about anything else you can think of that we’re zoned for.”

A blog post on the Modist website said construction should be complete in mid-July and “of course, we’ll be throwing a party once it’s ready.”

It will be one of two new event spaces opening in the North Loop this year. Chef David Fhima and his family will soon be opening a Ralph Lauren-themed event space above their new restaurant, Maison Margaux, in the building that used to house Ribnick Furs.
