Businesses Offer Prizes To Help Improve Dog Park
North Loop businesses are coming through big-time, offering gift cards and other items for prizes as we raise money for the North Loop dog park on Saturday, August 28th from 11am-1pm at the park (3rd Street North and 8th Avenue North).
Anyone making a donation will be entered in a raffle for prizes worth anywhere from $25-100. Drawings will take place during the event, and there will also be prizes for winners of three contests: Best Dog Costume, Best Pet Trick, and a Pet-And-Owner Lookalike Contest.

The money raised will go toward replacing the gravel that’s been rough on some dogs’ paws. We’re hoping to raise $5,000 from the community, and the North Loop Neighborhood Association will match that. If possible, we may add some benches and other amenities to the park.
If you’ve already made a donation via our GoFundMe site, you’re automatically entered in the raffle and you don’t need to be present Saturday to claim a prize if your name is drawn.
