Christmas Meal Options In The North Loop

North Loop restaurants are once again ready to help you serve a fancy meal on Christmas Day without having to do much more than reheat.

Spoon and Stable

Spoon and Stable’s Gavin Kaysen is now taking pre-orders for his Beef Wellington meal, complete with black truffle jus, pommes purée, glazed carrots, roasted broccoli, roasted squash with Brussels sprouts and for dessert: bouche de Noël. It will be available for pickup at Muse Event Center on December 23rd.

The Freehouse is taking pre-orders for family meals (top photo) that include roasted turkey with turkey gravy, brown sugar-glazed ham, mashed potatoes, corn bread stuffing, green bean hot dish and a salad. Pre-orders need to be in by December 21st, with pickup on December 24th.

Borough is back with its Very Danish Christmas, featuring duck leg confit, spiced pork sausage, roasted potatoes with thyme, caramelized potatoes, braised red cabbage with berry preserves, spiced apple compote and duck gravy. You can pre-order now for pickup on December 23rd.

Ono Hawaiian Plates has Holiday Packs to go, featuring chopped salad with a papaya seed dressing, Hawaiian sea salt & herb crusted roast prime rib, Kahuku style garlic shrimp, wasabi sour cream mashed potatoes, truffled Kalua pork mac and cheese, coconut creamed spinach, Hawaiian sweet rolls and Hawaiian sea salt chocolate cake. Pre-orders may be picked up either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Red Cow/Red Rabbit

Red Rabbit and Red Cow have “surf and turf” Christmas options, available á la carte or together as a meal, but you’ll have to pick them up at the Red Cow in Uptown. They include Manhattan loin and shrimp scampi along with roasted carrots, pecan & agave Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, bread, charcuterie board and chocolate cake. Orders must be placed by December 20th, with pickup on December 23rd.

Check back later. We’ll add to this list as more options are announced.
