Stay in the Loop

Colorful New Restaurant Dario Sets Opening Date

We may be in the throes of a cold Minnesota winter, but the North Loop’s newest restaurant, Dario, will greet us with a warmer, more tropical vibe of bright pinks and teals when it officially opens next Friday, January 26th.

Specializing in shareable plates of pasta and vegetables–with offerings of meat, fish and raw items as well–Dario is brought to us by a couple of North Loop veterans, Chef Joe Rolle (Borough) and Stephen Rowe (Marvel Bar).

A reservation page is now set up on Resy.

The staff is in full training mode right now but the social media team has been sharing images on Dario’s Instagram account of the colorful interiors and pasta-making sessions.

The design firm Wittkamper Studio said it will become “a serene and luminous escape of a restaurant. Touches of punk rock, bright brassy details and a hot pink private dining area are ever present reminders of the undercurrent of energy that so inspired its design.”

Dario is in the T3 building at 323 North Washington Avenue (use the driveway between Dock Street Flats and Deja Vu).
