Magazine Says 13 Of Minnesota’s Top Restaurants Are In North Loop

How lucky are we that we can keep our cars parked and simply walk to 13 of the restaurants that made Minnesota Monthly Magazine’s list of the Top 75 restaurants in the state?

Here they are in alphabetical order, with excerpts from the magazine’s review:

Bar La Grassa: “hip Italian restaurant” “The wine list feels endless, with reds and whites perfect to pair with any of the authentic dishes.”

Billy Sushi: “This is where the beautiful people dine…” “Billy Sushi feels like it should be in Miami, with its bumpin’ music and vibrant bar.”

Black Sheep Pizza: “These are perfect pizzas for unique taste buds.”

Butcher & The Boar: “The smell inside is an unmistakable combination of wood fire, steak, bourbon and money.”

Demi: “If Minnesota had Michelin-starred restaurants, this would be a lock for at least two stars.”

Kaiseki Furukawa: “One of the only true Japanese Kaiseki restaurants outside of the coasts, Kaiseki Furukawa is a temple to the art form.”

Monte Carlo: “This landmark Minneapolis establishment offers classic American dishes, from steaks to seafood to their famous dry-rubbed chicken wings (a must).”

Parlour: “The Parlour burger has reached icon status in the state.”

Porzana: “Yes, there is great steak… but there’s also so much more.”

Red Cow: “Red Cow has become a cool date spot, a family-dinner standby, and a busy brunch destination.”

Sanjusan: “Japanese meets Italian…Sanjusan is one of my sneaky-favorite restaurants in town.”

Spoon And Stable: “One of the best fine-dining locations in the Twin Cities.”

Union Hmong Kitchen: “incredible course-ground Hmong sausages, sticky purple rice, and amazing sauces…”
