Famous Architect’s Design
Cass Gilbert, who designed the US Supreme Court building in Washington DC as well as Minnesota’s state capitol building, came up with an intriguing redesign of this building at the corner of North 1st St and 1st Ave N. after a devastating fire in 1899.
