Feds award $928.8M grant to the Southwest Light Rail Transit project

The Southwest Light Rail Transit project on Monday was awarded a $928.8 million full-funding grant agreement from the Federal Transit Administration. The $2 billion project will extend the Metro Green Line 14.5 miles, adding 16 stations.
