Stay in the Loop

Food Trucks On First Street

Everything from kimchi fries to breakfast burritos to chocolate-dipped frozen bananas will be served in the North Loop Sunday, September 20th, with at least seven food trucks on 1st Street from 3-7 pm.

The trucks will be spaced out over a nine block area between Hennepin and 8th Avenue. “A great idea is to start down by Acme and walk down to the Federal Reserve or vice-versa,” said North Loop Neighborhood Association board member Scott Woller, adding “Come hungry and bring a mask.”

This is not an officially-sponsored North Loop Neighborhood Association event. We weren’t able to host the annual Food Truck Fair this year because of the pandemic, but these food truck operators who’ve endured a rough year wanted to visit on Sunday, and we’re helping get the word out. They’ll simply find an open parking space and set up shop.

Among those scheduled to be there are: iPierogiGo Bananas, Asian Invasion, It’s 7AM Somewhere, K-Town Street Foods, Thumbs Cookies and Taqueria El Victor along with one pet supply truck, KoveredUp.
