Hewing Hotel Named Best In Minnesota

Now in its 5th year at the corner of 3rd and Washington, the Hewing Hotel continues to rack up the accolades from travel publications. The latest is from US News and World Report, ranking the Hewing #1 in Minneapolis-St. Paul and, in fact, all of Minnesota.
Citing guests who described it as stylish and comfortable, they praised the way the Hewing incorporated the exposed wood, brick and metal into a modern design. The building was originally a farm implement warehouse, built in 1897.
The Hewing was also rated one of America’s “most Instagrammable hotels” by National Geographic, and “Best Hotel in the Midwest” by Condé Nast Traveler readers in 2018.
