Drew Barrymore Surprises North Loop Salon Owners With Gifts
Actress and TV show host Drew Barrymore featured two of the co-owners of a North Loop hair salon, Urban Village SalonSpa, on her show today, and the segment ended with a nice surprise.
As we reported in December, the salon offered free hair care services to healthcare workers, paramedics and first responders for an entire month even though they were struggling financially.
One of the guests on Barrymore’s show today, celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, learned about the salon’s generosity and offered the co-owners a surprise gift that left them misty-eyed: $25,000 worth of products from Dyson Hair Care.
