Indoor Face Coverings Now Required

The governor’s executive order is now in effect, requiring everyone over 2 years old to wear face coverings over their noses and mouths inside businesses and public indoor spaces.

In restaurants, bars and taprooms, those face coverings may be temporarily removed while eating and drinking as long as you can stay at least six feet away from others who aren’t a member of your party.

The governor’s order includes many more specifics, including some exemptions, which you can read here.

Governor Tim Walz did not set a date for when the order would end.
