InVision Uses Sterilizer To Protect Clients

When it was allowed to reopen in June, InVision Distinctive Eyewear on Washington Avenue greeted visitors by appointment only to make sure there weren’t too many people in the shop at one time. It’s now allowing walk-ins, but with strict capacity limits and plenty of safety measures in place.

UV sterilizer

For those worried about trying on glasses after someone else has touched them, the shop has a UV sterilizer that all glasses are placed in, before being returned to the shelves. Clients need to wear a face covering inside the store–except when they’re trying on the glasses. They have their temperature taken digitally when they enter, and they fill out a screening form with questions about whether they’re feeling ill or have traveled recently.

Store manager Sam Griffith said he’s been glad to see that business has been picking up lately. The shop is currently open Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm with a doctor on-site Tuesday afternoons from 2:30-4:30.
