Live Music, Food Trucks, Extended Hours This Week At Taprooms
With thousands of craft brewers from around the world in downtown Minneapolis this week for the annual Craft Brewers Conference, North Loop taprooms and brewpubs are ready to welcome them (and you) with special events.
Freehouse, for example, will have a beer garden set up on their patio Monday-Thursday 3-8pm with a DJ, a special food and beer-pairing menu, plus raffles and games.
Inbound BrewCo is kicking off a week of live music and fun tonight with Dolly Parton night from 7-9pm. They’ll also host live band karaoke and trivia later in the week.
Modist Brewing is extending its hours this week, opening at 2:00 Monday-Thursday, noon on Friday and 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday. They’ll have food trucks each day and a DJ on Wednesday.
Fulton (the city’s FIRST taproom) will be hosting a few private events plus live music on Tuesday and Thursday.
Prye’s Brewing is offering new beer releases along with a DJ tonight and live music on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Smack Shack is also getting in on the act, with a couple of menu items, fish tacos and steamed clams, inspired by Bent Paddle Brewing of Duluth.
Craft brewers are here from all 50 states as well as 46 foreign countries.
