Loop Dental Expanding With Second Clinic
Three years after opening his first Loop Dental clinic on 5th Avenue North near 2nd Street, Dr. David Bates is about to open a second clinic just around the corner, at 410 North Washington.
In an email to patients this week, Dr. Bates wrote that “thanks to the incredible North Loop community, we found ourselves in need of room to grow.” So while he’ll continue to see patients at the 5th Avenue location, the new facility will allow for more services and more appointment times.
The expansion was already in the works before COVID-19, but the pandemic made the need for more space even more urgent. “Patient and staff safety has been of the utmost importance to us during these challenging times,” said Bates. “We have implemented strict social distancing safety protocols and apologize to those who’ve had to wait a long time for their appointments as a result. This increase in clinical space allows us to maintain our necessary social distancing guidelines while creating more appointment times.”
Bates is bringing in orthodontist Geoff Sudit to work out of the new facility. Dr. Sudit is described as one of the top providers of Invisalign orthodontics in the country, and will be offering free consultations in the first few months.
