Stay in the Loop

New Fitness Studio Will Combine Boxing, Strength Training

Yet another fitness facility will be opening in the neighborhood this year, helping us shed pounds in between our trips to the many North Loop bars and restaurants.

Rumble, a boxing-inspired fitness chain with more than 150 locations nationwide, will open its first Minnesota facility this fall on the ground floor of the new Viridium Apartments on North 3rd Street.

“Our classes will be 45 minutes of boxing cardio mixed with HIIT strength training in a vibrant environment,” said local franchisee Sherri Bonacci.  “Think dimmed overhead lights with lots of cool lighting effects, big music, and great video with an energetic trainer leading the 10 rounds.  Super fun and entertaining with a great full body workout.”

Rumble will be just around the corner from the relatively new Barry’s, and within blocks of several other fitness facilities, including: North Loop Fitness, Orangetheory, Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping, Basecamp Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Alchemy, Purposeful Pilates, ALTR and several North Loop-based fitness consultants.

“North Loop is a natural location with the fitness and health focus of many residents and the great vibe that we think goes along with Rumble,” Bonacci said.

Rumble plans to have a table at this weekend’s North Loop food truck fair, passing out information and is hoping for a soft opening in November.
