New Patio Seating At Snack Bar Increases Capacity And Visibility

Just in time for a warm week leading into a holiday weekend, Snack Bar is debuting brand new patio seating outside the TractorWorks building, giving them about 25% more seating capacity as well as higher visibility at 8th and Washington.

“Part of the goal is to kind of increase the, ‘hey there’s Snack Bar, we can see it, we know it’s there,’ said operations manager Joel Oine.

The black tables with bright red chairs mimic the color scheme of the intimate indoor space at Snack Bar. The outdoor seating will be first come/first served, no reservations necessary and the full menu will be offered outside.

Snack Bar was open just four months before the pandemic caused all restaurants to shut down. And it stayed closed for more than a year along with Bar La Grassa, which has the same ownership.

Since reopening, they’ve added a neon sign as well as a big white banner outside. This patio seating is the latest feature to draw more attention to the restaurant.

And for those wondering, the outdoor seating will only be for Snack Bar; there are no plans to provide service from Bar La Grassa there.
