Stay in the Loop

New Photo Studio Will Upgrade Your Social Media Game

With all the photos we’re sharing these days, there are times when you’d like something nicer than a cell phone selfie–but without the high prices and long waits of a professional photographer.

That’s the middle ground being claimed by Profeshie (short for professional selfie). It’s a new quick-turn lower-cost studio opening in October above Black Sheep Pizza. The neon heart in the 2nd floor window is a sign of the ❤️❤️ they want to help you get on your social media sites or business profiles.

“We want this to be a space where people can come with their friends, have a really fun time and take some really nice pictures,” said owner Kyle Ingebrigtson.

Professional photographer Nic Larson will take the pictures, there will be ten different colors of backdrops to choose from and the images will be delivered to clients as quickly as 24 hours later.

Ingebrigtson believes the North Loop is the perfect spot for his new business. “It was just the energy of this neighborhood,” he said. “There’s people everywhere and just the exposure I get from being at the corner of 6th and Washington is huge.”

When they officially open in early October, they’ll offer sessions on Wednesday-Friday evenings and Saturday nights. For appointments and other inquiries, you can DM them now via their Instagram account.
