Nordic Plaza Replacing Curling Courts With Lawn Games

Crews began work this week on removing the three bocce/curling courts on the Nordic Plaza outside Fuzzy’s, Thr3 Jack and Freehouse so a big new section of turf can be installed there.

It will open up a lot more opportunities for lawn games like corn hole, connect 4, giant Jenga, ladder toss and bocce ball–all free to the general public.

“The upgrade is due to the functionality of the curling courts and the involved upkeep,” said property manager Bailey Nichols of Cushman Wakefield. “We are excited to transform the entire area into a space for lawn games and lounging.”

New lawn furniture is expected to arrive for the new space by May 3rd but the lawn games should be available earlier, sometime next week.

“Great addition to happy hour at one of the plaza patios or weekend walks through North Loop with kids!” said Nichols.
