North Loop Neighborhood Association (NLNA)
Letter Of Interest For Serving On The NLNA
Board Of Directors
Thank you for your interest in supporting your neighborhood!
North Loop residents, property owners, business owners and business representatives are eligible to serve on the NLNA Board of Directors. Board members are elected to two-year terms at our Annual Meeting. The 2026 meeting will be held at The Rabbit Hole on January 28th. As the NLNA board is composed entirely of volunteers, board members are expected to make a significant time commitment (20-25 hours monthly), to be actively engaged in their committee assignments and to be an active participant at neighborhood events.
Monthly board meetings are held at 6pm on the last Wednesday of the month at the Itasca Event Gallery (706 N 1 st Street). No more than two missed meetings annually are permitted. Parks+Public Art and Planning+Zoning Committee meetings are also held monthly.
Please complete the form below to submit your name as a nominee. Nominations will be accepted through January 10th. We will contact you when we receive your letter to explore your interests and tell you more about what all we do, and what we expect from board members.
We will also ask you to record a video (45 seconds maximum) to introduce yourself and express why you’d like to serve on the board.
