North Loop Playground Closed For Now

Since the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board was getting so many reports of people violating social distancing guidelines in area parks, playgrounds and athletic courts, it has decided to restrict access to them.
The measures include the temporary closure of the children’s playground at James I Rice Park along West River Parkway in the North Loop. Signs went up on the playground equipment on May 2nd.
