North Loop Restaurants Rank High On MSP Magazine List
Through all the turmoil of the past year, it’s clear that the affection for North Loop restaurants remains very high.
Mpls St Paul Magazine asked readers to rank their favorites in several categories, and the North Loop has three of the five names in the “Top 5 Mpls Restaurants.” Spoon and Stable took the top spot, with Bar La Grassa third and Smack Shack fourth.
Smack Shack took the top spot in Seafood. In the Japanese/Sushi category, the North Loop has the top two with Billy Sushi in first and Kado no Mise second. Billy Sushi also made the top three for Best New Restaurant.
The North Loop also has the top-ranked Soul Food restaurant, with Soul Bowl, the top-ranked Bar, Parlour, the Best Burger–Parlour again, and the top-ranked Bakery, Bellecour.
Spyhouse Coffee, which has a North Loop location, finished first in the Coffee category.
Red Cow, which has a North Loop location, finished 2nd for Meal Kits and 3rd for Best Burger.
