North Loop’s New “Living Room” Taking Shape

While tech workers have already moved in to the upper floors of The Nordic office tower on Washington Avenue, crews down below continue their work on several new features geared toward helping the North Loop unwind.

From a giant outdoor plaza with lawn games and events, to a new food hall, to a bar/restaurant with high-tech golf simulators, the project developer expects the new spaces to become “the living room and backyard of the North Loop.”

The project is also bringing in hundreds of badly-needed parking spots to the area as well as more than 50 new condo units.
