Stay in the Loop

Online Brands Have A New Home In The North Loop

They’re still a few a few weeks away from their official grand opening, but the Jaxon Grey store in the D.NOLO space is now open for business, offering a chance for customers to touch and try on menswear that’s only been available online.

In recent years, more clothing manufacturers have launched and sold their brands exclusively through social media. Jaxon Grey founder Michael Druskin believes there are still many shoppers who would prefer to see and buy their clothes in person, and he’s providing these brands with an outlet.

He also wants to help consumers make a personal connection with the brands—many of whom are driven by social causes. Druskin will soon post story boards around the store, detailing the backgrounds of the individual brands and their Instagram accounts.

“The store’s really based on stories,” Druskin said, “the inspiration behind each brand, the people behind it, what’s unique about either the way it’s produced or the product itself.”

The grand opening is set for September 19th.
