Super Bowl Ad Filmed At North Loop Cocktail Bar

Minnesota fans may have been saying, “Hey, wasn’t that Joe Mauer and John Randle?” as a Super Bowl commercial aired for UNRL, a clothing line that’s popular with athletes.

But eagle-eyed fans in the North Loop could’ve also been saying, “Hey, that looks like Public Domain!”

Indeed, the commercial–featuring Minnesota athletes as well as actor Christopher McDonald, best known as Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore–was filmed in the popular cocktail bar at 119 Washington Avenue North.
