“They’ll Be Back,” Says Owner Of Bar La Grassa, Snack Bar
We’ve heard very little publicly from restaurateur Isaac Becker since last March when Governor Walz ordered all restaurants temporarily closed because of the pandemic. While most restaurants reopened weeks later when the governor eased the restrictions, Becker’s two wildly popular restaurants in the North Loop, Bar La Grassa and Snack Bar, have remained closed.
And then this week, Becker announced that he was permanently closing another of his restaurants, Burch. ‘Uh oh,’ we thought.
But now, Becker has the news that his North Loop fans have been waiting for. He tells Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine’s Stephanie March that both Bar La Grassa and Snack Bar will reopen, hopefully in the early summer.
