Transformation From Borough To Revival Is Nearly Complete
With the official opening less than two weeks away, friends and family are starting to get their first look inside the newly-revived Revival restaurant, where Borough used to be.

They’re seeing a space that’s a little more open, a little homier than before. And there’s now more booth seating than regular tables and chairs.

“We’re really excited to be back in the North Loop,” said general manager Madi Bogenreif, “and just creating a space for everyone to enjoy some really good fried chicken.”

The chicken, indeed, will be the primary draw–and there’s even a dedicated gluten-free fryer for those with dietary restrictions.

“It’s on the opposite end of our other fryers that we use for every other chicken,” Bogenreif said. “I’m also gluten-free, and so I was obsessed that they had a gluten-free fryer.”

The menu also features Southern-style comfort foods and shareable sides like cornbread in its own little skillet, collard greens, glazed carrots and black-eyed peas.
“I think it’s just gonna bring a really nice, elegant space for people to come and enjoy a meal with family, friends, date night,” said Bogenreif. “We just want a space where everyone feels welcome, and they have a family here in the North Loop.”

The official opening date is Monday, November 9th, and reservations are already being taken on Tock.
Revival will be open seven days a week, 11am-9pm Monday-Thursday, 11am-10pm on Fridays. And then with weekend brunch, they’ll open at 10am on Saturdays and Sundays.
