Wrecktangle Pizza Finds New Home In North Loop

Wrecktangle Pizza is coming back to the neighborhood where it all started. In an Instagram post this week, the owners announced their return to the North Loop, this time setting up at Graze Food Hall.

It will be on the ground floor, replacing WRAP and WRAD Pizza, two concepts from the same owners. “Don’t worry, this won’t be the end of your favorite wraps and thin crust pizzas, some of which will soon be found on the menu at their LynLake location,” the owners said in a news release.

Wrecktangle had a successful 5-year run as a startup at North Loop Galley, even through all the struggles of the pandemic, but then the Galley owners abruptly announced they were closing this past May.

“The closure of North Loop Galley was heartbreaking for us because it’s where it all started,” said owners Jeff Rogers and Breanna Evans. “Wrecktangle Pizza has been open for almost six years now and we owe it all to the North Loop Galley incubator food hall.”

The last day for WRAP and WRAD will be Sunday, the 26th.

Meanwhile, we’re also getting closer to the return of another Galley favorite, Ono Hawaiian Plates. They are currently hiring workers as they renovate the space along Washington Avenue formerly occupied by Guacaya Bistreaux. They expect to open sometime this fall.
