Edwards Dessert Kitchen Reopening After 2-Year Hiatus

The North Loop is about to become considerably sweeter again this week, with the long-awaited return of Edwards Dessert Kitchen.

Starting Thursday, May 5th, Edwards will be open Thursdays & Fridays 4-10pm and Saturdays & Sundays noon-10pm.

Executive chef Jasmine Weiser has been busy preparing a menu of treats that includes stone fruit pavlova, raspberry mousse, lychee lime celebration cake and Rocher mousse.

“In 2020 we, like many establishments, closed the doors to our dining area due to the rising safety concerns surrounding COVID-19,” said Weiser. “While we continued serving Edwards Dessert Kitchen fans through catering over the last two years, our team is excited to invite our community back into our indulgent dessert destination because there is nothing we love more than to see the faces of people as they enjoy our specialty dessert creations.”

Along with the sweets, Edwards is also bringing back its bar. “As an accompaniment to our dessert menu, guests can also choose from a robust beverage program featuring artisan coffee from St. Paul-based True Stone Coffee Roasters, wine, a full bar and premium cocktails carefully crafted just for you by the one and only, Mr. Aynsley Jones,” said spokesperson Heather Malakowsky.

Edwards is located at the corner of 2nd and Washington.
