Taco Options Expanding in the North Loop
A year ago, taco lovers had few options to choose from in the North Loop. But that’s changed with the opening last summer of Mr. Taco inside Cobble Social House, as well as the new Fulton Taproom Kitchen which opened in December with chipotle chicken tacos and beef carnitas among the options on its menu.
Now, we’re about to get another one when the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop franchise opens a new location next to Freehouse on the Nordic Plaza. Along with Baja Mexican entrees, it will have specialty beers and margaritas on the menu.
Spokesperson Peter Fitzgerald tells us things are going well with the construction plans and they’re shooting for a grand opening in April or May. “We are excited and of course wanting people and the vibrancy to return to the neighborhood ASAP,” he said.
